  • Question
Isn't it pointless for a teenage girl to get nipple piercings since no one will see them?

  • Question
I got my nipples pierced yesterday and even though I thought I would like it, I hate them and want to take them out. How long should I wait?
    Community Answer
Go see the piercer and discuss it with him. You may have to wait a few weeks or a few months. You might also try a different type of nipple piercing, such as a barbell instead of ring or vice-versa.
  • Question
My breast are extremely large and my nipples are really sensitive. I still want a nipple piercing, will it affect my breast size and sensitivity?
    Community Answer
It will not affect your breast size but they could make your nipples more sensitive, a lot of people get piercings to increase nipple sensation.
  • Question
My nipple piercing is 8 weeks old and it seemed to be doing well but now the nipple is sore and a clear sticky liquid has started to leak as I am cleaning the ring. The nipple is not hot or bloody. It just aches and itches at times. What can I do for relief?
    Community Answer
Itching could be a part of the healing process. As long as the liquid is clear and there is no severe redness or hotness, it should be okay. It could take a while before the piercing is completely healed. Continue with the normal cleaning process as instructed by your piercer. However, if the liquid turns yellow or pus-like and there is hotness or redness, contact your doctor as soon as possible for advice.
  • Question
Can I still exercise while my piercing heals?
    Community Answer
Yes you can, but be careful. Protect the piercing with a bandage during working out and obviously be careful about bumping into things or putting a lot of stress on the area. (In this case, try to avoid exercises that require lying flat on your stomach). Afterwards clean the piercing thoroughly since sweat and bacteria can get into the piercing.
  • Question
How old do I have to be in order to get my nipples pierced?
    Community Answer
It depends on where you live. Most shops won't perform this piercing on you if you're under 18, or whatever the legal adult age in your country is. This is because nipple piercings are considered a genital piercing.
  • Question

  • Question

There is not only one area of milk ducts in your nipple, and a piercing should not cause any damage because they can reroute themselves.
  • Question
Where can I get my nipple piercings taken out?
    Community Answer
Generally, if the piercings have healed, you can take them out on your own. Some people prefer to go to their piercer to get them removed, however, as they find it easier than trying to open the jewelry on their own. If the piercing is unhealed and you must get it out, it is strongly recommended that you go to a piercer.

This is strongly not recommended! Piercers are trained professionals and have the proper equipment. Your body could be permanently damaged by this.
  • Question
