Essentially just add more water, but if you do add more salt without adding more, that shouldn't cause anything horrible. However, the mixture will be too thick for it to form any type of actual crystal, however, this also depends on how much you put extra. The easiest method would just be to add more water, then separate the cups to see the different results. Just be careful on how much you put extra or spill, there shouldn't be anything too wrong.
