I have size 0 gauges and I have to take them out for my new job. I don't want them to close up during my shift because I worked really hard to get to this size, so what should I do so they don't close up?

If you're only removing your gauges for a short period of time, even several times a week, it's not likely your lobes will close up as long as you reinsert your gauges as soon as you can after your shift. You should also wear your gauges at all times when not working to maintain your gauge size. If you're still worried about the gauge closing, you might discuss using a skin tone plug during your shift with your manager.
