  • Question
I have red, white and black wires. What is the white wire?
    Community Answer
It is the ground wire. You connect it to the chassis or something that's made of conductive metal.
  • Question
Can I put a red underglow light under my motorcycle and only Uber the bike in Mesa Arizona?
    Clg000fc
    Community Answer
Red underglow is typically illegal in most states because red white and blue are colors for emergency vehicles. Check with your local laws first.
  • Question
Why would I want to ground the negative to my bike frame?
    Community Answer
This is because your bike frame is a big piece of steel and the negative wire would ground out better.
  • Question
Why do my lights keep turning on/off when the bike doesn't even have the key in the ignition?
    Vassily Knigge
    Community Answer
This is because there is a wire still getting a connection to the battery when the breaker isn't working properly. Check your wire connections.
  • Question
I have existing LED lights on my Daymak scooter. Can I wire them directly to the light switch?
    Tyler Harlan
    Community Answer
You should not add any additional lights to your headlight circuit. There is most likely a fuse that can handle only so many amps of draw from the battery between the light switch and the battery on your scooter. If you attach another set of lights to this light switch, you might draw more current than the fuse can handle. If that happens, then you will not have any lights on your scooter at all. You would be better off installing a cheap aftermarket switch somewhere discreet with an inline fuse to the LED lights.
  • Question
Why do I lose the blue light when I turn the ignition on?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
If you lose the blue light when turning the ignition on, it could be due to a weak battery, loose wiring, a bad ground connection, or a short circuit. Check the battery and connections first. If the battery is fine, inspect the wiring and grounding. If the issue persists, have a mechanic check it.
  • Question
How do I determine which of the four black wires on my LED lights is the ground if only one has a broken white line?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
The wire with the broken white line is likely the ground. To confirm, check the manual or use a multimeter to test continuity between that wire and the light's metal housing. You can also connect it to a ground and test the light. If you're unsure, consult the manufacturer or a professional.
  • Question
How do I connect LED lights with a brake function, and where should I attach them?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
Locate the brake light signal wire in your vehicle using a wiring diagram or a multimeter. Connect the LED's brake wire securely to this signal wire using connectors or solder. Test by pressing the brake pedal to make sure the lights work. If unsure, consult a professional.
