    Expert Answer
You can usually patch them. There are some companies that use a repair chemical that is similar to plastic that you can melt onto your clothing. However, I would recommend only having a professional do this.
  • Question
Will dryer heat kill moths or their eggs?
    Vinamr Gandhi

If the heat is above 45 degrees Celsius, it will kill the eggs. The best way to kill them is moth balls.

So if I put all of my sweaters in plastic zip bags after I have cleaned them they should be fine?
    Community Answer
Only if your sweaters are clean and you are sure there are no eggs already on them!

Put your clothes in a bag and then in the freezer for 24 hours. Washing clothes does not kills moth eggs, but freezing them does!

No, they do not eat leather, but if your leather garment has a cotton lining, moths will eat that.
  • Question
Can I store wool coats in the cleaner's bags?

You can, although this can be problematic. Dry cleaner bags are not meant to be permanent storage. Dry cleaner bags do not let humidity out, and that can cause mildew.
  • Question
Should I use a closed plastic garment bag or a tightly closed furniture drawer when protecting my wool clothing from moths?
    Erin Song
    Community Answer
You can use the plastic garment bag only if you are sure there are no eggs on the wool. You can also use the drawer if there are no holes and if you cleaned it out properly. If you are indecisive, you can do both!
