How do I fall asleep the night before Christmas Eve?
    Community Answer
Try to relax by drinking a glass of warm milk before you go to bed. Avoid the temptation of playing on your phone or watching TV in bed. Eventually, you'll drift off to sleep and it will be Christmas morning!
  • Question
How do I avoid the temptation of opening presents early?
    Community Answer
Think about what occasion they are for, and that they were given to you with the intention of being opened on Christmas Day and not before. Think about the fact the wait will be worth it. Exercising self-control is very important and satisfying and this is a good opportunity for you.

Try to get back to sleep (one idea is listening to music). You could also read a book, play a quiet game or do other activities that might entertain yourself.
  • Question
How can I make a stocking without buying one?
    Community Answer
If you have the fabric in the color that you like, then you can cut it in a stocking shape (draw the stocking shape on it, then cut). If you don't like sewing, you can try gluing it in place with fabric glue (which can take 5 to 15 hrs to dry). Once dried, it stays in place for years. Or you can sew it along the outline and then turn it inside out to reveal the stocking. Add a tab for hanging and it is all done. Or, just use a large, long sock (a clean one, of course!).
