  • Question
Can I do it without downloading anything?
    Community Answer
No. You need a specific animation engine to work. It is not like Microsoft paint.
  • Question
How do you make sure that something you download isn't a virus?
    Community Answer
Use a antivirus software and install a firewall to avoid viruses. Run a full scan on your computer after you download something new.
  • Question
Could I use mine imitator from Minecraft?
    Community Answer
    Yes, you can.
  • Question
What if all the software is too hard for me to use? Would Mine-Imator be good as a starting point?
    Withered Striker
    Community Answer
Mine-Imator is a good starting point and can get you well-versed in the basics of animation. However, Mine-Imator, while potent in itself, has poor video quality when compared to traditional software like Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, 3DS Max and SFM. I do recommend you eventually make the jump from Mine-Imator to one of those apps once you've got the basics.
  • Question
Is there any more software I need to download?
    Community Answer
No. A rendering software is strong and efficiency enough to aid you throughout the process. However, using final finishing programs such as After Effects does the job better.
  • Question
I tried to use Mine-imator, but it won't work. How can I fix this?
    Community Answer
Mine-imator is a great animating engine for making out minecraft animation, but depending on its terrible efficiency, it will not bring you far away. Consider using Cinema 4D, Maya, or another program. However, Blender is highly recommended.
  • Question
Can I make a picture with this?
    Community Answer
Yes, you are able to make a 2D/3D picture with these rendering software programs.
  • Question
Is there anything like Blended that I can download on my tablet?

No, it is most likely that it will require a software more advanced than one available on a tablet.
  • Question
How do I upload my world into Blender?
    Raai0100
    Community Answer
Uploading your world is not possible using Blender. Though you can use your Minecraft worlds to create an animation using Mine-imator, it is very limited.
  • Question
Am I allowed to monetize the video without special permission from Mojang?

Yes, but Mojang holds the rights to claim your video if it desires.
  • Question
How do I use my own skins in Minecraft animations?
    Community Answer
You download it onto your rig. I recommend watching Black Plasma Studio's Blender tutorial series on YouTube. It is a good starting point, and gives you good rigs and blocks downloads. He also describes how to add your skin to rigs.
  • Question
Are there any other things I could use?
    Community Answer
Mine-Imator if you have a Windows computer or are willing to mess around with WINE.
  • Question
Can I use Minecraft to make animations about any topic?
    Community Answer
Yes, as long as you follows Mojang's Minecraft EULA.
  • Question
What should I do for the rigs to have my own designed skin?
    Withered Striker
    Community Answer
Most animation apps allow you to change a model's texture, or "material". Find a PNG of the desired skin, cut out the eyes (Most rigs already have their own eyes) and upload it as material or texture.
  • Question
How do I download 3D rendering software?
    Community Answer
Google the program you want to download, like Blender for example. Google "Blender" and click on the official site (it will probably be the first option). You should see a link that says "Download Blender." Click it and follow the instructions.
