Can rubbing alcohol be used to kill weeds?

This is inadvisable due to its low boiling point. Chemicals that kill weeds are toxic to plants and have a slow evaporation process that allows the plants to absorb enough to be lethal. Go to a Lowe's, Home Depot, or any other store that has a gardening section and discuss with them your options. There are some pretty inexpensive methods out there.
