  • Question
Which direction is the best to set a badminton court?
    Community Answer
It's best where there is short grass, not down hill, not where it's always wet, and not on tar.
  • Question
If there is wind, what can I do?
    Community Answer
There is little you can do if there is wind, to be honest. You should change the angle of your shots to suit the winds. For example, if the wind is blowing moderately from your left to right, you may want to hit a little more to the left than you normally might so your shot is not affected by the wind too much. Do not do this with smashes, however. If you smash hard enough, the wind shouldn't have much of an effect (unless it's very strong).
  • Question
How can I draw the line on the ground without digging it?
    Community Answer
You could use spray paint, string, a jump rope, etc.
  • Question
When it is rainy, what do we need to do?
    Community Answer
Bring the net indoors, and also the birdies and rackets. If they get wet, then they can become moldy and hard to use.
  • Question
How do I make line on a mud(soil) court?
    Community Answer
Use a stick and make the court. Use the WFB regulations for the size.
  • Question
How do I turn a plain plot with a small amount of grass into a playable court?
    Community Answer
If you don't want to remove grass, you can put a mat the length of court, fix it and play. After playing is over, remove it.
  • Question
How do I tie the string to the pole?
    Community Answer
Pull it so that the net of the string end is touching the pole, then tie the string in a figure eight about three times around the piece of metal for it to go on about a quarter of the way down of the pole.
