I think one of the most effective ways today is literally reaching out to brands on social media. We work with a lot of influencers that work with some of the top brands in the nation, and a lot of them were able to get in touch with these brands by directly messaging them on social media. That's the most effective but it's also the most time consuming and labor intensive way to do it.

It depends on how and what you are doing. DIY car washes are typically more eco-friendly then going through a company-made car wash. This is because when doing a DIY car washes, you are using hose water and soap using your hands, a sponge, and rag. If you are going somewhere to get it professionally done, it isn't as eco-friendly because of the big machines, letting off chemicals into the air and into the water table. However, with proper laws requiring companies to capture the wastewater and even recycle it, it can end up being more efficient than home washing.
