Just try your best to memorize what passive voice and active voice are. In passive voice, the subject is being "acted upon." An example of this is "The letter was mailed by Marilyn." "Letter" is the subject, and "mailed" is the verb. In active voice, the subject performs the action denoted by the verb. An example of this is "Colorful parrots live in the rain forests." "Parrots" is the subject, and "live" is the verb.

Homeschooling is very fun! If you are having troubles with English, ask your mom or dad (or teacher or tutor) to help you. Extra help in learning is never a bad thing! Also, don't forget to read lots of books about the subject. For English, I suggest Professor Klugimkopf's Guide to English Grammar, or the Only Grammar Book You'll Ever Need by Susan Thurman and Larry Shea.
