Actually, we use prayer beads (Japa mala) for chanting. It consists of 108+1 beads. When we chant 'Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare /Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare' 108 times, then 1 round is completed. Usually we should do minimum of 16 rounds of it. And for me 1 round is completed in 15 minutes - this way I spent 4 hours daily to do 16 rounds chanting.
