  • Question
How many days will it take the cherry seeds to sprout?

As needed to keep the soil slightly moist. You'll want to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Once the cherry develops a taproot, test the soil to a depth of 3 inches (7.5 cm) and water whenever this feels dry. Water in a slow trickle until the soil is wet to the depth of the root.
  • Question
Is the process for cherry blossom plants pretty much the same?
    Community Answer
Almost, but you seem to be confusing two different species of tree. One grows fruit and flowers, while the other turns pink in the spring. While cherry seeds grow to be trees, cherry blossom seeds have to be bought from the store or harvested from the tree itself, and then planted in a different environment.

  • Question
    Do cherry seeds grow fast?
    Ponen Wati Longchar
    Community Answer
Cherry seeds can grow quite fast. One fast method is to simply break open the hard shell, a vise works best, though if you are careful enough with a hammer, then you can crack the shell without damaging its interior seed. Breaking open the shell will also help you to identify the unviable seeds, soak the seed in wet tissue paper and leave it in the fridge for a few days, then you will notice that its seed coat has begun to crack and it will be easier to remove. After that, simply plant in the soil; just push the exposed seed with its rooting point partly into a sandy soil mixture, as it's very fragile at this point. If covered with soil, it can rot easily.
