  • Question
When I put a G unit with my vanguar,d can my opponents card take 2 damage?
    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
No, you cannot. When a G unit strides, the only stat that it gains for that turn is the power belonging to your vanguard (which is known as the Heart at this point). Hence the + symbol on the G unit.
  • Question
if a card gets put into the damage zone, can we get them out to be used in battle?
    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
No, you cannot. Certain card abilities trigger in the damage zone, while some card abilities may trigger and target the cards in the damage zone itself. Unless stated otherwise by an ability of a card, you cannot do so.
  • Question
What is a persona blast in vanguard and how do you activate it?
    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
When a card ability demands a Persona Blast, you choose a card whose name is the same as your current vanguard from your hand, and send it to the drop zone. Say, if your vanguard is "Draconic Overlord", and it requires a Persona Blast, choose a card from your hand named "Draconic Overlord" and discard it. The Persona Blast cost is then paid.
  • Question

    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
Story-wise, this is used to resolve conflicts between a disagreement of sorts. On certain occasions, it's for helping planet Cray (where the units in the cards live on), considering that using the cards meant they are fighting on Cray for real. Otherwise, it's fun.
  • Question
Where do I buy vanguard cards?
    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
Any of your local card shops should be selling the TCG itself. Just take a look around and you'll soon find one, or ask a local player about it.
  • Question
What exactly does "omega lock" do in Link Joker?
    Derrick Chin Chia Shen
    Community Answer
First of all, when you lock a card, turn the card face down, and it loses all abilities while in this state. The locked card is turned face up, or unlocked when the owner of the card ends their turn. When you omega lock a card, you basically add a second lock to the card, so when the owner of an omega locked card ends their turn, that card becomes a locked card instead, and will be unlocked when they end their subsequent turn afterwards.
