    UberX are smaller vehicles than most vans, but still should fit 2 - 3 luggage pieces as well as up to 4 passengers. It is expected that luggage should be allowed inside of an UberX. However, if you have too much luggage once the driver tries to stow the luggage away in the trunk/vehicle for the ride, the driver can cancel on you. If you are riding by yourself, some luggage can go in the trunk and more luggage in the back seat, but keep in mind your transportation route's policy with respect to luggage.
