  • Question
How long does it take to ride the SkyTrain in Vancouver?

  • Question
Will I be able to carry a medium size suitcase and a cabin bag from the airport to downtown?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can. It might be more challenging if you are travelling at peak times though (e.g. morning or afternoon rush) since the Skytrain is packed with commuters. That said, if you leave from the airport, you are at the start of one of the Canada Line's branches, so you should be able to get a seat. I'd go for either the first or the last train and try to get in the seats right at the front/back. The reason? More space to keep your bags and also a really cool view!
  • Question
How do I see a lot of sights in Vancouver without renting a vehicle?
    Community Answer
Walk, ride a bike or take transit. The transit system has improved tremendously and it's easy to get around. From a bus, to the skytrain, to the Seabus you can have quite the experience! Of course, it depends on the sights you want to see. If you stay in downtown Vancouver and the sights you want to see are also in the vicinity, then walk, bike or take transit. If you stay in the suburbs then you'll have to get to Vancouver first. If the sights you want to see are outside of the downtown core, you'll have to plan. Use Google Maps, it's great for figuring out how to get around.
