    Community Answer
You can download Windows 10 onto a flash drive for free. However, it will require a code sooner or later. If you bought the computer from a store, I recommend contacting them if it was supposed to come with an operating system but did not. If that does not work, you can find a code for most systems for about $100-130. It is pricey but must be done.

My lg computer is stuck on power saving mode, and after I opened it, it's just a black screen. How do I get it to stop?

Try holding the power button until it turns off. Once it is turned off, you can attempt to restart it. When starting back up, if it turns on, then open your Settings and go to Power Settings. Here you can turn it back to regular settings.
  • Question
I have a new computer tower and I want to connect the old monitor to it. Should I connect one cable at a time?
    Community Answer
It depends on what kind of a tower it is and how it's built, but in most cases, yes.
  • Question
I plugged my old computer back in and the screen doesn't turn on when the computer is powered on. If I turn the monitor on it just says "No signal." Why?
    Community Answer
The screen and CPU are not properly connected. There is probably faulty wiring somewhere. If it's a desktop computer and you're using an HDMI cable to connect the monitor, try switching out the cable.
  • Question
I can receive email but can't send. What's wrong.
    Community Answer
You will need to contact your Internet Service Provider and find out the correct settings for your email account. Usually, they will have a link on their website's support page with the instructions for sending email.
  • Question
How do I set up a wireless connection on a new computer?
    Community Answer
This depends on whether the computer has built-in WiFi or not. If it does not, you will need to either add an internal card or USB WiFi dongle to the computer. Once the computer has WiFi capability, make sure the WiFi is turned on. Search all available connections, and simply connect to your WiFi router (you should then be prompted for the password you set up for your own network on your router).
  • Question
How do I set up a new computer OS if I don't have a monitor yet for it?
    Community Answer
This is not really possible. Once it is set up you can run a system without a monitor (headless), but to set up from scratch initially without a monitor, you can't really do.
  • Question
How do I set up my email on my new computer?
    Community Answer
It depends on whether or not you have a mail app. If so, then you set it up in the program. For instance, if you have Outlook, you can set it up with your email address, then sign in to your account through the pop-up window that comes up. The process is likely similar with other mail apps. If you don’t have any mail apps, you can simply sign in to your mail account in your browser. For instance, if you have Gmail, then you sign into your Google account, click on the tic-tac-toe shape on the upper right, and choose Gmail from the drop-down list. This process is similar to other websites like Yahoo.
