How do I make my tent more comfortable?

Put towels or some kind of matting down over the entire base of the tent to make everything more comfortable. Then, you can put your sleeping bag on top of that.

How do I repair a tent if it is ripped?

Try patching it using approved patching kits obtained from the camping or outdoors store. The retail assistant can help match the right kit to your tent. If not, you could try to sew it shut if you don't have a patch but any form of stitching will make holes and can reduce the waterproof nature of the tent.
