  • Question
Using Smart Switch from a Galaxy S9 phone to a Galaxy tab S8, "messages" is grayed out and doesn't transfer. Am I doing something wrong?
    Community Answer
It's possible that the "messages" option is not compatible with the Galaxy Tab S8. You can try using Samsung Cloud or a third-party app to transfer messages from your Galaxy S9 to the Galaxy Tab S8. Samsung Cloud allows you to back up and restore data, including messages, from one device to another. Alternatively, you can use a message transfer app from the Google Play Store to move your messages between devices.
