    Expert Answer
Possibly, but it really depends on what else you are eating. To help control your weight loss goals, minimize the amount of chocolate that you eat overall. Each day, limit yourself to 2 small, 2 oz (57.7 g) pieces of dark chocolate with few additives—this means at least 60% cacao. The ingredient list should be short and contain phrases like "cacao butter".

  • Question
    Is dark chocolate racist?
    Community Answer
No, it actually has many health benefits to it and is a great treat for anyone to enjoy.
  • Question
Does it offend people when I consume dark chocolate instead of milk?
    Community Answer
It shouldn't. Some people may not personally be a fan of dark chocolate, but that doesn't mean they should be offended that you like it.
  • Question
I stopped consuming any milk chocolate for over a year now. I usually take 55 or 75% cocoa. But I just started with 90% one. It is so bitter. I don't know how to savor the taste.
    Emlyn Brady
    Community Answer
90% is a very high concentration of cocoa, so it makes sense that it would taste bitter. Perhaps you could eat it multiple times to get used to the taste or eat something with less cocoa percentage and work your way back up to 90%.
  • Question
I started eating 99% dark chocolate and it is so bitter. What should I do?

    Community Answer
You can add a couple tablespoons of sugar to every 50 grams of chocolate, and adjust it to your taste. Melt the dark chocolate on low heat and stir constantly while you add the sugar in slowly.
