    Expert Answer
While holding the top at a 45-degree angle, place the bar from piece B into the hinge and press down until they click together. If this cannot be done with ease, then do not force it and instead contact the manufacturer for assistance.
  • Question
    Does it take batteries?
    Christopher
    Top Answerer
Diaper Genies neither needs nor uses batteries. It is a manual push that will propel the diaper into the bag inside the machine.
  • Question
How do you know when it is full?

    Community Answer
It is full when you cannot comfortably fit more diapers into it.
  • Question
The clamps fell apart. How do I put it back together?
    Community Answer
There are two pieces to the clamp--the piece with the spring attached and the piece with the cutter. Hold the two pieces so that the curved end of the piece with the cutter and the side of the other piece on which the spring is located are pointing at each other. Hook the curved end of the piece with the cutter under the spring on the other piece. Next, flip the piece with the spring under, hooking it into the track on the cutter piece. Once the pieces are connected, hold them so that the cutter mechanism is pointed at the ceiling and snap them back into place inside your Diaper Genie®. Watch a video demonstration.
  • Question
