  • Question
Do I need to run the hot water from the sink faucet before starting the dishwasher?
    Community Answer
Yes. Dishwashers work best if they start with hot water. You may also want to run the garbage disposal to keep the drain clear.
  • Question
When should I remove the dishes?
    Community Answer
As soon as they're cool enough to handle.
  • Question
Do I need to use the 'dry' setting?
    Community Answer
You can if you like. Some people prefer to save the energy and wait for them to dry by themselves and then put them away.
  • Question
Should I store dirty dishes in a dishwasher until I get a full load to wash?
    Community Answer
I suppose this is a personal choice. I don't, but the dishwasher runs once a day here. Keep in mind that if you do this, there could be a little odor in the dishwasher until you run it, and it's possible you might wear out the locks/hinges of the dishwasher door by opening and closing it more frequently. It's totally up to you, though!
  • Question
Where do I put dishwasher powder?
    Community Answer
Most dishwashers have a small drawer or spot for adding the detergent. You owners manual should say where.
