It may be possible you dislike your island's name on Tomodachi Life. Fortunately you can change the name of your island later on in the game. If you want to rename your island on Tomodachi Life, fear not! It is a very simple process.
Steps

1Enter the Town Hall. The Town Hall is represented by a blue icon on the touchscreen. It is between the houses and apartments. Click on its icon twice, or click on it once and press Enter .

2Press Options . It is an icon at the bottom right of the screen, underneath QR Code and has a picture of a spanner.Advertisement

3Choose the Island Name option. It is found on the middle left, under Clock Settings and above Baby Settings . It has a silhouette of an island with a palm tree.

4Click on the box with your current town's name. This should allow you to change your island name. There is a limit of 10 characters.
- You can't have only spaces in your island's name.

5Hear how the game pronounces the name. Press the speaker button underneath your town's name. If the game does not pronounce it the way you want, you can spell out its phonetic spelling using simple syllables. There is a 20 character limit and you can only use letters.

6Select Yes . Once you press the orange arrow button on the bottom left of the screen to go back, a message saying "Your island name is: [Island Name] Island. Is this OK?". If you choose No , it will take you back without saving your island name change.Advertisement
