Twitter Polls allow users to pose questions to their followers that the followers can then respond to by voting. You can easily vote in a Twitter Poll with your account, once you know how.

Steps

  1. 1
Log in to your X account .  Open to www.twitter.com  in your preferred desktop browser or launch the X app on your smartphone.
    • If you don't have an account, you can  sign up for free. Go to www.twitter.com/signup to access the X signup page.
  2. 2
Navigate to a poll or search for one. You can see trending polls by using the hashtag function to search. Search for #Poll or #Polls to quickly find Twitter polls.
    • You can tell it's an active poll if you see a tweet phrased as a question with a number of options listed below it.

  3. 3
Click or tap on an option to vote. When you do so, you will be shown the current stats of the poll. Your vote is designated with a checkmark next to the selection.
    • Remember that you can vote in a poll only once, so choose wisely.
  4. 4
Review the final results.  According to X, a Poll ends between 5 minutes and 7 days after it has been Tweeted, depending on the duration set by the user who Tweeted it. The winning choice is displayed in a bold blue colour.
    • You will receive a push notification from Twitter informing you of the final results.
