Sushi Shopping List
For the sushi rice:
* 2 cups sushi rice
* 2 cups water
* 1/4 cup rice vinegar
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
For the fillings:
* Sushi-grade raw fish (such as salmon, tuna, or yellowtail)
* Cooked shrimp
* Avocado
* Cucumber
* Carrots
* Scallions
* Cream cheese
* Mango
* Radish
* Sesame seeds
* Wasabi
* Pickled ginger
* Soy sauce
For rolling:
* Nori sheets (dried seaweed)
* Bamboo sushi rolling mat
Note that you don't have to include all of these ingredients, and you can use your preferred sushi fillings. Also, make sure to buy sushi-grade fish from a reputable supplier, as other types of fish may not be safe to eat raw.
