What are the telltale signs of a narcissist?
These are classic signs of a narcissistic person:
  • They tend to have a grandiose view of themselves and a very pompous attitude.
  • Fantasies of power or control live in their everyday minds.
  • Narcissists live to be the best at everything, even if they are in fact not.
  • They may believe that they are exceptionally unique and deserving of special treatment from individuals of high status.
  • Excessive admiration from others is a dominant need.
  • A sense of entitlement in everyday situations is a regular occurrence. Narcissists must have the best of the best, always. Whether it’s the best job title, car, clothes or even what they perceive to be the best mate.
  • Exploiting others is justified and a means to get what they desire. They often see people as objects instead of humans.
  • A deficit of empathy is perhaps one of the most common traits noticed when dating a narcissistic person.
  • Constant envy of others and the belief that others are envious of them is a regular occurrence.
When and how do you define the relationship?
The best way to transition from a fling into a relationship is to communicate with your fling and let them know you are genuinely interested in pursuing a relationship with them. Be consistent in your pursuit of this person, and be honest about your feelings.
Signs that someone is hiding their feelings for you?
Well hello there! Even though your love interest is shy…actions never lie. So be sure to observe his actions. How does he act around you? Does he initiate conversations? Does he initiate asking questions during conversations? How does he look at you? Does he show any interest in your day? Pay attention to the way he treats you, and that will reveal how he feels about you. In fact, many men aren’t as expressive as women are. Therefore, observation is essential. Though he may be shy, there are still plenty of signs that will be able to assist you in determining if he likes you.
Be real with me. Do opposites actually attract?
Opposites can attract each other, however, in those situations where opposites do attract, both individuals have to have an open mind. Individuals that are “stuck” in their ways and prefer not to veer far from their preferences would not do well with an opposites attract situation. However, individuals that are open to new experiences and learning from others…they typically do better with dating someone extremely different from themselves. Just be aware that the person you’re dating views the world from a different lens. We all have a different lens. Be mindful of their perspective and respect it. Don’t be judgmental. Be open and ready to go with the flow.
How do you actually get a girlfriend? I have no idea
I think the best way to go about looking for a girlfriend is to be proactive. Place yourself in situations to meet more people. For instance, social gatherings are a wonderful way to meet new and different people. The more exposure the better. Likewise, exposing yourself via dating apps and social media is a good idea. Introverts typically do better with dating sites versus meeting in person. However, be careful not to be too desperate in your search for a girlfriend. Just think of it as a new opportunity to meet new people. And if you meet your girlfriend…it will be a plus!
