Yes, just don't put a lock on it. By not making it look important enough to break into, sometimes it is better as it'll make someone who finds it less likely to realize it's secret and they won't feel so determined to find out the contents. Also, where you place it can make a difference, such as among toys or near photo boxes, etc.
