Once you convert the PDF to JPG format, you can use Canva’s editing tools to edit the images or incorporate them into a design. To get started, visit www.canva.com/features/pdf-to-jpg-converter/ .     • Click or tap Upload your file . If you’re on a desktop computer, you can also drag and drop your file into the green area at the top of the page.
    • Log in or sign up for a free Canva account when prompted.

  1. Any PDF to JPG is a free app for Windows. This is a good option if you are concerned about the security risks of using online converters. To download this app, press the Win key on your keyboard and open the Microsoft Store. [1]
    • Once the Store is open, enter Any PDF to JPG into the search bar at the top of your screen.
    • The search result lists "AnywaySoft, Inc" as the publisher and features an icon with "PDF" highlighted in red-orange and an arrow pointing down to "JPG" highlighted in green.
    • This app features a lot of downloads and a high rating.
    • Click Get to install the free app.
    • If you don’t like this option, there are a variety of other free apps for Windows you can try, such as PDFMate (available from the developer website here ) or Total PDF Converter (also available in the Microsoft Store ).

    • Browse your file manager for your PDF, then double-click it to open it.

  1. Preview is a free image viewing and editing app that comes with your Mac. You can use it to easily and securely convert individual pages in PDF files to other formats without having to download any additional software. To open your PDF, either open Preview and go to File > Open, or you can right-click (or Ctrl -click) on your PDF and select Open with > Preview .
    • Keep in mind that this method will only convert one page of your PDF at a time ! You’ll need to select each page that you want to save as a JPG, one at a time, and repeat this process for all of them.
    • If you have a longer PDF that you want to convert into JPG files, you can use your Mac’s Automator app to do that.

    Use Automator to create batches of JPGs from multi-page PDFs. Automator is a free utility that comes with your Mac. With a few steps, you can use it to set up a workflow that will convert multi-page PDFs into JPG images. Once you’re finished with the initial setup, you can use this automation any time with a couple of mouse clicks! To get started, start Automator from the Launchpad in your Mac’s Dock.
    • You can also find it by clicking the Spotlight Search icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen and typing in automator .

    Start a new Quick Action. In Automator, go to File > New and select Quick Action .

    • If you want to run this automation in the future, there’s no need to open the Automator app! Just right-click any PDF file and choose your quick action from the menu.

Oppido recommends doing this if you’re looking for a quick and easy but secure solution. The exact method varies depending on your device and operating system. For example:
    • In Windows 10 and 11, press Win + Shift + S to open the snipping tool, then select, edit, and save the part of the PDF you want to capture.
    • On a Mac, press Shift + Command + 4 . Select the part of the PDF that you want to capture using the crosshairs tool. Your screenshot will be saved to the desktop.
    • On most Androids, you can grab a screenshot by pressing the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time.
    • On most iPhones, press the Volume Up button and Side Button at the same time.

    No. It is a promotional copy that only allows you to convert odd pages. For one-page docs, this is fine, but for anything else, you'll have to buy the full copy (price unknown).
