Be aware of potential security risks with these methods. While online PDF to JPG converters are quick and easy to use, Opiddo says they’re not ideal for converting documents that contain sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers or bank account info. If there’s information in your PDF that you want to keep private, use one of the other methods below or stick to converter websites that require a secure login.
  2. 2
Try the Adobe Acrobat online PDF to JPG tool. This tool is free and claims to store your files securely. Your file will be deleted after you’re done unless you sign in and save it. To quickly convert a PDF to a JPG on any platform (including Windows, Mac, or mobile devices), go to www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/pdf-to-jpg.html in any web browser. Then:
    • Click or tap the Select a file button. If you’re on a desktop computer, you can also drag and drop your PDF into the area with the dotted outline. You may be prompted to sign in or create a free account.
    • Select JPG as your desired image format. If you like, you can also increase the image output quality.
    • Click or tap Convert to JPG .
    • Download your converted file. If your PDF has multiple pages, it will save as a ZIP file with multiple JPG files inside.
      • If you’re logged into your Adobe account, you can also click the Share button at the top of the page to see options for sharing your converted file(s).

Use the free Canva converter tool. This is another popular free option that you can use on both desktop and mobile devices. Once you convert the PDF to JPG format, you can use Canva’s editing tools to edit the images or incorporate them into a design. To get started, visit www.canva.com/features/pdf-to-jpg-converter/ . Next:
    • Click or tap Upload your file . If you’re on a desktop computer, you can also drag and drop your file into the green area at the top of the page.
    • Log in or sign up for a free Canva account when prompted.
    • On the next screen, edit your JPG file(s) if you like. If the PDF has multiple pages, it will be converted into a Canva design with multiple pages of JPG images. This kind of document will save as a ZIP file when you download it.
• Click Download at the top of the page to save your image(s), or click Share to see a variety of sharing options.

Experiment with other free online converters. While Adobe and Canva are the most popular options, there are a ton of PDF to JPG converters available. • Question
How do I make an image in a PDF file from a JPG file?
    Community Answer
If you have Photoshop, go to File>Automate>PDF Presentation. Then you can browse for your JPG's, or use any already open in Photoshop.
  • Question
Can I just make a screenshot instead?
    Community Answer
Yes, but taking a screenshot will reduce the quality of the image. It's better to convert the file from PDF to JPEG.
  • Question
    Is the conversion program free?
    Community Answer
No. It is a promotional copy that only allows you to convert odd pages. For one-page docs, this is fine, but for anything else, you'll have to buy the full copy (price unknown).
