  1. If you don’t have the Airbnb app, you can download it from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Otherwise, just open the app as usual on your Android, iPhone, or iPad and look for the human-shaped icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen with “Profile” underneath. [1]
    • Note that you can only see reviews others have written about you or your Airbnb listing in the mobile app.
    • You’ll need to use the Airbnb website on a computer to see the reviews you've written.
  2. You’ll see your profile picture (if you have one) right underneath the Profile heading. To the right of that, you’ll see your name and the Show profile option. [2]

  1. Go to the Airbnb website and click your profile icon. The profile icon is a circle in the top-right corner of the webpage with your profile picture inside. When you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear. Just remember—you’ll need to be logged into your Airbnb account before you can view your profile. [7]
    • If you aren’t already, log in by clicking on the grey human-shaped icon at the top-right corner of the page and selecting Log in from the drop-down menu.
    • Once logged in, that grey icon will become your profile picture, and you can follow the instructions above.
  2. This option is closer to the bottom of the menu, in the second section beneath Refer a host . [8]
  3. The Account page will feature several tiles with different settings and options, but you don't need any of them for this. Instead, tap the bolded Go to profile link just above the tiles, next to your name and the email address connected to the account. [9]
  4. 4
Look through reviews written about you as a guest or host. Scroll down, close to the bottom of your profile page, and you’ll see snippets of recent reviews as well as the option to view your reviews fully. Depending on whether you’re a guest or host, do the following: [10]
    • Guests: Click the Show all reviews option to see every review that hosts have written about you.
    • Hosts: Click From guests to see every review written by guests about you or your property .
    • The page will include each review a host has left for you and reviews left for a property you host .
    • Reviews are listed chronologically, and any reviews written in another language will be translated into your native language. [11]
  5. 5
Click Reviews you’ve written to view your own reviews. This option is at the bottom of the page, below the option to see reviews from other people. You can use the Reviews you’ve written link to see all the reviews you’ve written for other Airbnb users as a host or guest. [12]

Frequently Asked Questions About Airbnb Reviews

PDF download Download Article
  1. 1
Where can I see my Airbnb ratings as a guest? As a guest, you can’t view the ratings your hosts give you—just the reviews they leave. However, if you request a copy of your data from Airbnb, you should be able to see everything, even ratings from hosts. To do that, log into Airbnb and go to Account > Privacy & sharing > Request your personal data and fill out the information requested. Airbnb will email you a file containing the data!
  2. 2
When can I leave a review? You can review a stay (or guest) for up to 14 days after checkout; however, if the host cancels a reservation before check-in, neither the host nor the guest can leave a review.
  3. 3
How do I leave a review? After any stay, Airbnb will email the guest and host, asking them to leave a review. Alternatively, you go directly to the Airbnb site; as a guest, just go to your Trips page. As a host, go to the Today tab > Reservation , or your Messages .
  4. 4
How do I edit my review on Airbnb? You can edit a review anytime within the 14-day review period that begins when your Airbnb stay ends. After the review period ends, you can’t make any further changes to a review. However, for Airbnb Experiences, you can edit your review for 48 hours after submitting it, even if it’s already been published.
  5. 5
Can I respond to reviews? Yes, you can post a response to any published review left for you on the Airbnb website.
  6. 6
How do I get reviews deleted or removed? Airbnb entrepreneur and author Daniel Rusteen says that there’s a process on Airbnb. If you get into an unfair situation with guests (such as them refusing to pay for some reason) and they leave a negative review, it’s absolutely possible to get that unfair review removed. To do that, you must submit a review removal request through Airbnb and provide as many details as possible explaining the situation (as well as documentation).
  7. 7
Can I view Airbnb reviews without writing one? Yes—any reviews written about you will show up on your profile, regardless of whether you write one in return.
  8. 8
Can I sort reviews on the Airbnb site or app? Yes (to both platforms). If you’re a guest, after selecting Show all reviews, you can opt to sort them by most recent, highest rated, or lowest rated. As a host, you can do the same thing after selecting From guests .
  9. 9
Can Airbnb hosts see my reviews before they review me? No. Neither you nor your host can see the other’s review until the 14-day review period ends, after which both reviews are automatically posted. So, neither of you can see what the other has written before reviewing.
  10. 10
How can I avoid bad reviews as an Airbnb host? Entrepreneur and expert real estate investor Nathaniel Miller recommends being as honest as possible about the space you’re renting. Misleading information can lead to bad reviews, so make sure what you’re advertising is authentic.
