You can cite the WHO in two different ways:
In a sentence
Mention the WHO in the sentence before you present findings of their report. The first time you cite one of their reports, state the abbreviation in parenthesis and use it for the rest of the paper.

After the sentence
Recent reports show that funding for tropical diseases has fallen (World Health

Date
Include the date after the author’s name to help the reader determine while report you’re referring to. If there is no date, use “n.d.”.

Subsequent entries within a sentence
According to the WHO (2010),
First citation at the end of a sentence
Recent reports show that funding for tropical diseases has fallen (World Health
Organization [WHO],

Page or paragraph number
When quoting directly from the WHO, you’ll need to include a page (p.) or paragraph (para.) number so your readers know where to find the quote.
Examples:
According to WHO (2010), “funding has decreased by 10% in the last 20 years” (p. 12).
The report states that “funding has decreased by 10% in the last 20 years” (WHO, 2010, p. 12).
According to the WHO (2010), “funding has decreased by 10% in the last 20 years”
(para. 34).
