Queen Latifah is in a relationship with female dancer and choreographer Eboni Nichols, and the two share a son, Rebel. It's unclear when the two became involved, but rumors began circulating that they were dating around 2013.

Though Latifah has long been considered a queer icon, playing queer characters and, in 2012, referring to Pride attendees as "her people," she has always made a point not to discuss her sexuality: in 2008, she told the New York Times , "You don't get that part of me" in response to questions about her relationship status and sexuality. "I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not."

It wasn't until the BET Awards in June 2021, as she accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award, that she publicly acknowledged Nichols as her partner for the first time, ending her acceptance speech with, "Eboni, my love. Rebel, my love. Peace. Happy Pride!" So, it's safe to assume Queen Latifah is LGBTQ+, but whether she specifically identifies as gay, we're not totally sure. What do you think?
