Virgos can be a tad over-intellectual because Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and thinking. While it's not a bad idea to tell him you have feelings for him, he might be turned off by sappy over-emotionality. It may be a better idea to try to get him to come to you: show him you care by being there for him, and entice his curiosity with your own intellect and emotional distance.
