This is a great thread, and a good reminder that a well-executed roast is more of an art form than a simple insult. The key to a good roast line is knowing your audience and making sure the humor comes from a place of affection.<br /><br />The best roasts are funny because they're based on an inside joke or a shared history, not because they're mean. It's all about making sure everyone is laughing, especially the person being roasted.
