Copying Favorites & Bookmarks to a USB Flash Drive

  • Export bookmarks in Chrome by navigating to Bookmarks > Bookmark manager > â‹® > Export bookmarks .
  • Name the file and save it to your flash drive. [1]

  4. Type in a name for your bookmarks file or keep the default name that's usually "Bookmarks" and the current date.

    • If you’re using iOS 11 or later or macOS Sierra 10.12.6 or later, you don't need to transfer bookmarks via flash drive since syncing will make sure you have the same bookmarks across computers and devices.
    • Devices with iOS 10 and earlier or macOS Sierra 10.12.5 and earlier will no longer be able to sync bookmarks across devices, and new bookmarks will no longer be uploaded from those devices. [4]
