What Dinosaurs Might You Meet in Jurassic World?
If you happen to be visiting Jurassic World on a day when the dinosaurs haven't
escaped and started taking over the park, you might be surprised by how many cool dinos there are to see (including ones that don't want to eat you!). Here are some of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring dinosaurs you might encounter during your trip:
- Brachiosaurus . This gigantic, plant-eating dinosaur is known for its very long neck, which helped it reach leaves on tall trees.
- Tyrannosaurus rex . This fearsome carnivore was one of the most effective predators of the dinosaur age thanks to its giant, super-sharp teeth and powerful jaws. Despite its giant size, it had disproportionately tiny arms (we guess it didn't need them to catch things).
- Triceratops . Another vegetation-eating sweetie, Triceratops gets its name from the 3 large, distinct horns on top of its head, which came in handy when it encountered other dinosaurs looking for a fight.
- Velociraptor . In the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises, Velociraptors are fast, cunning, vicious, and about the size of an adult. In reality, they were actually smaller than we are, and more bird-like.
