Microwave Oats with Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup rolled oats
* 1 cup milk (or any milk substitute of your choice)
* Pinch of salt
* Toppings of your choice (e.g. fresh fruit, nuts, honey, cinnamon)
Instructions:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the oats, milk, and salt.
Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, then stir well.
Microwave for another 1 minute and 30 seconds, then stir again.
Continue microwaving the oatmeal in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval, until the oats are cooked to your liking. This should take about 3-5 minutes total, depending on the power of your microwave.
Remove the bowl from the microwave and add your desired toppings.
Serve immediately while still warm.
Note: You can also add other ingredients to the oatmeal before microwaving, such as mashed banana, cocoa powder, or peanut butter, to create your own unique flavor combinations.
