When it rains, do your wipers leave streaks in just the wrong places on your windshield? Applying Rain-X properly to your windshield will almost certainly improve your ability to see through your windshield in any precipitation condition, especially at night. Use Rain-X and the water will bead and slide right off your windshield.

QuestionWhat is the minimum application temperature?Community AnswerDirections on the bottle say the temperature should be above 40 degrees, and it should never be applied in direct sun. A heated garage would be perfect.
-
QuestionCan I pour Rain X into the windshield washer container under the hood?Community AnswerNo. Rain X has its own window washer fluid that can be purchased separately.
-
QuestionCan I apply it when it is hot outside?Community AnswerBuffing off takes some effort, so if it's too hot for you, then don't. It's best to work it in under some shade. Working with hot glass also makes the haze harder to remove.

- When the Rain-X is applied in proper quantity, water will bead on the surface into perfect circles (as you look down on them). When the beads, or drops, of water take irregular shapes, it's a sign that the sheeting action is wearing off. Thanks
