Grow Island is a free online game available at Hooda Math that requires you to create an environment on an island that results in the best possible technological efficiency and outcome. The order in which you click on icons to build the island will determine the outcome of the game. There are two possible endings to Grow Island: the traditional ending, and the UFO ending. This wikiHow teaches how to get both endings in Grow Island.
Steps

Navigate to https://www.hoodamath.com/games/growisland.html in a web browser. This is the website where you can play Grow Island. You need to Install the Adobe Flash Player in order to play Grow Island.

Allow Adobe Flash Player to access your web browser. If you see a grey screen that says "Select for Adobe Flash" or "Run Adobe Flash", click the center of the screen. A pop-up window will appear. Click the tab that says "Allow" or "Allow Once".

Click English . If you can't read the text on the screen, click English or the language of your choice.

Click Play . It's in the center of the screen. The game will begin.

Click on the “Mechanical Engineering” icon. This is the icon located to the far right that resembles a bolt. A single bolt will appear on the island. [1] X Research source

Click on the “Civil Engineering” icon. It's the icon that resembles a pickaxe. A little man will use the pickaxe to construct a road on the island, and the bolt will grow and change shape.

Click on the “Architecture” icon. It's the icon that resembles a pile of logs. The little man will use a paving machine, the evolution of the bolt, to pave the dirt road. The logs will be placed on the cliffs on the right side of the island.

Click on the “Aeronautics” icon. It's the icon that resembles a steering wheel. The little man in the machine will use a sword to carve a dock on the left side of the island. [2] X Research source A small house with another person will appear on the right side of the island. Lastly, a single smoke will come out of the volcano.

Click on the “Environmental Engineering” icon. It's the icon that resembles a red smokestack. The little man will come out of the machine after having seen the person in front of the house, and he will build a river behind the house in order to grow flowers. He will then offer some to the woman living in the home. An automobile will emerge from the steering wheel next to the dock and and start driving on the paved road, while the home, with the two people inside, grows larger in size. A chimney has also appeared next to the volcano.

Click on the “Electrical Engineering” icon. It's the icon that resembles a red and white battery. It will spawn in the middle of the road. The house will get upgraded, and a fence will appear behind it. The two people will come out of their home with a child. One of them will throw something in the chimney and then bulldoze a tunnel into the mountain. A ship will emerge and go to the island in the background to retrieve a yellow potion, after that it will return to the dock. At the end, the screen shakes a little and the volcano produces some more smoke.

Click on the “Computer Science” icon. It's the icon that resembles a microchip. A computer will appear near the top of the island. [3] X Research source A railroad will be built through the tunnel. A rocket ship will also appear on the island, and it will go to space to retrieve a blue potion, similar to the one the ship got. A smaller battery will come out from the one that was in the middle of the roads, and it will turn the car into an electric one. One of the people and the child, who have now a picnic area behind their house, will throw something else into the chimney. Lastly, the volcano will erupt, with a dog with a plant-shaped hat will emerging from it. A little bit of lava will come out from its hat and fall down the hill.

Click on the “Applied Chemistry” icon. It's the icon that resembles a Bunsen burner. The little man will enjoy a picnic lunch with his family while the island’s technology continues to improve. You have now achieved maximum points, and have beat Grow Island. [4] X Research source

Click on the “Environmental Engineering” icon. It's the icon that resembles a smokestack. A group of aliens will teleport onto the dirt road, and start dancing. You have now achieved maximum points for the UFO ending, and have beat Grow Island.

Wait for the UFO Ending to appear. A congratu-alien-s message will appear on screen.
