For Christianity

Go to your local Orthodox Parish, and tell the priest that you would like to convert to the Orthodox Church.

The parish priest will choose a godparent for you.

After much study, the priest will contact the Bishop (of the particular diocese), who will give his blessing for your Baptism into the faith.Advertisement

For Judaism

Go to your local Orthodox Synagogue, and tell the rabbi that you would like to become an Orthodox Jew.

The rabbi will do everything he can to discourage you from making your decision to convert, because you have to be 100% committed and Orthodox Judaism is NOT for everyone.

Develop a close friendship with an Orthodox Jewish family to immerse yourself in the Jewish faith.

You have to appear before a Jewish court called a Beit Din.

5If you are a man, and you are already circumcised, you have to go through a ceremony called "Hatafat Dam Brit" which is a symbolic need prick at the circumcision scar and you shed 1 drop of blood.Advertisement
