Were you born with a round face? Do you really not like the look of it? There are things that you can do to alleviate the look.
Steps
-
Keep hair long to lengthen the face, and cut layers a few inches below chin. Part hair in a deep side parting, and add volume at the crown of head to make face more oval. Do not hide behind the hair, it will make the cheeks appear fuller. [1] X Research source
-
Cut bangs in a long, side swept way to add angles to the face. Pull the rest of the hair into a low bun.Advertisement

Super straight hair makes face rounder so curl in soft waves to distract from roundness and wear hair to one side. Do not part the hair in the center. [2] X Research source
-
Cut hair just under the collarbone and add a few soft layers. Loose messy curls at the tips will enhance jaw angles.
-
Go short. A tapered pixie cut gives more definition to the face but keeping a small amount of hair in front of the ears will make it look more feminine.
-
Put it in a ponytail that hangs over the shoulder and adds height to the crown. Avoid pulling hair straight back.

Trace fingers from tip of the forehead, to end of the eyebrows, to tip of the chin. Anything outside the invisible line should be hidden, and anything inside should be brought out. [3] X Research source
-
Add a highlighter to the chin, bridge of the nose, and forehead to elongate face.
-
Add highlighter under eyes in a right triangle motion. Under eyes, along nose, up to corner of eye and blend.
-
Use bronzer on the outside of the cheeks to give a more oval look to the face.
-
Apply bronzer on a straight line from ear to jaw. Make 'fishy-face' and apply bronzer from ear to lips, and apply bronzer from ear up the side of the face. [4] X Research source
-
Apply blush just below cheekbone focusing on the outer portion of the face. Applying the blush to the apples of the cheeks will make them look fuller and round faced people should avoid doing so.
-
Blend makeup to give it a natural look.
-
Use dark colours on lips (no blacks) to make face appear bolder or dark colours on the eyes (Purple/Browns). Do not use dark colours on the lips and eyes at the same time.
-
Black mascara looks great on everyone!
