How to Create a Hometown on Facebook

Facebook maintains a huge list of all cities and hometowns around the world. You use these locations when updating your profile related to your addresses. Even with this huge list, there may be instances when your hometown isn’t included yet. The hometown fields aren’t really editable, and you have to pick a hometown from the list. If you don’t want to settle for a nearby town, you can send a report or feedback to Facebook so that they can review and add your hometown to the list.

    Use your Facebook account and password to log in. The login fields are found on the upper right corner of the page. Click the “Log in” button to proceed. You will be directed to your account News Feed.
