Want to learn how to draw a witch? Just draw one! There's no set way to draw anything so grab a pen, pencil or even some chalk and draw a wonderful witch of your own. Or, this tutorial will teach you how to draw copy someone else's idea of what a witch looks like. Copy either of the two different types of witches shown here if you want to know how to follow instructions or how to copy.
Steps

Draw a circle as base for your head. Draw the cheeks and the chin making the bones exaggeratedly prominent. Sketch a cross to guide you in drawing the face details later.

Draw long bell shapes for the sleeves and circles for the hands. On her right hand, sketch a broom.

On the witch's head, draw a long pointy hat that is slightly bent.

Add details to the face. Make the eyebrows thick, big round eyes, draw small circles for the warts, nose large and pointy and mouth slightly open showing an incomplete set of teeth to make her look wicked.

Outline the face and draw several squiggly lines for the hair.

Add details for on the witch's robe. Make it look tattered and old.

Erase unnecessary lines.

Colour your drawing.

Draw an outline of a broom with a long stick handle.

Draw an outline of a witch sitting on the broom. For the head, you can use a circle with the bottom part pointy and angled for the cheek and chin. Draw two short parallel lines for the neck connecting the head to the torso. Draw the rest of the body depicting a long robe. Draw the hands, one holding the broom.

Draw a big pointy hat.

Add details to the face, like the eyes, nose, ears and mouth. Frame the face with the type of hairstyle that you like, be creative.

Add more details to the robe, like a cape and some patterns if you want.

Refine your drawing, like the fingers, fine lines on the broom and hat. Draw the witch's shoes.
