Do you have a game disc stuck in your PlayStation 4? If you're unable to eject the disc using your controller or the eject button, you'll need to manually remove the disc. You'll just need your Model number and a long Phillips screwdriver to get started. The Model number can be found on the back of your PS4 or on the spine for Pro and Slim models. This wikiHow will show you how to get a stuck disc out of your PS4 console.

Things You Should Know

  • Press "Options" on your controller, then "Eject" to try removing the disc first.
  • Find your Model number on the back or on the spine of the console. It will contain "CUH" followed by four numbers and a letter.
  • Depending on your model, locate the manual eject hole and insert a Phillips screwdriver. When you turn the tool, the disc should eject.

    If you touched the disc on the bottom, you should clean it before using it again.
