I really don't know what to do honestly I mean, I do have one but it's bulky and not discreet. I have the basics but I just feel I'm missing stuff. Thank you, Skylin.

Try using a stylish purse, bag, or pencil pouch to carry your mestrual supplies—not only will it be fun picking out a container that matches your aesthetic, but it might make it less obvious what's inside the chic bag you're carrying around.

If the period kit you have now is too bulky, consider just including the essentials (tampons, pads, and/or a menstrual cup). If you feel like you're missing things and want to add new supplies, especially if you get a new, fun bag, consider including:
  • Panty liners (just in case)
  • Over-the-counter painkillers if you like to take them for cramps (like Aleve or Motrin)
  • A spare pair of underwear (just in case)
  • A spare pair of shorts or leggings (again, just in case!)
  • A couple resealable baggies to make disposal of menstrual products a little easier
  • Wet wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • A travel pack of tissues (in case you ever find yourself in a bathroom stall with no TP)
  • Some snacks (bananas and avocados are great for cramps, and dark chocolate is great for moodiness and cramps)
  • A bottle of water
  • Some spare cash in case you need to purchase new menstrual products, chocolate, water, or anything else
If you don't have or can't get everything on this list, don't worry! If you've got the basics, you're doing great, and you can always add more to your kit as you go and as you learn what you might need or not need. You can also ask a friend, a friend's parent, a teacher, or some other trusted person if they happen to have any extra supplies if you ever find yourself missing something crucial. You've got this!
