Leo here, dating a Taurus. We've been together a few months and things are going good but I'm curious what others have to say about this pairing and the overall emotional/physical compatibility. Is Leo and Taurus a good match?

Taurus, the stubborn bull, has a pretty hard time learning to forgive and let things go. Leos, on the other hand, are extremely generous and friendly. On paper, this should be a good thing—and it often is!—but if there’s conflict in the relationship where the Leo feels they’ve been wronged, it can be a tall order to get the relationship back on track. That said, Taurus’s are often the most sensual of the Zodiac and Leos are the most affectionate of the Zodiac, so if things are good they’re going to be really good. This can be a super rewarding pair!

I'm a Taurus and I dated a Leo before. Things were mostly fun and she was super friendly and genersou, BUT, when we fought we fought bad lol. The thing is, both a Taurus and a Leo are the most stubborn people you'll ever meet, so get them arguing over something objectively insignificant and they will be there for years because neither of them wants to give in. Needless to say, the relationship did not last......but she is still a good friend! I think we balance each other out in a lot of ways, but the stubbornness made it hard for us to date.

I think if you're both aware of one another's personalities and aware of your own needs and don't expect your partner to change for you, but instead try to see how you can complement one another, your relationship can thrive. This is true of Leos and Taureses but it's also true of ANY relationship, regardless of sign. I know a couple who's Leo and Taurus and they have been together for over 10 years and they're so in love, they just don't try to "fix" the other person or expect more than their partner is equipped to give.

i feel like i know a lot of taurus-leo couples, oddly enough. and in almost all of these relationships the taurus is something of a symp (i say that with love) who would basically die for their leo lover. leos are not as simpy i guess but they ARE exceptionally charming AND super loyal. so i think it works lol.

Taurus and Leo have the same love language in my experience. They’re both about touch and physical affection. That makes the start of the relationship really easy for these two. But, both of these are “fixed” signs. Loyalty, stability, and mutual respect are essential. If a Taurus or Leo get into it and one of them feels like these tenets have been violated, it can cause a serious conflict.
It can also be hard for Taurus to give Leo the affection they seek if it involves a lot of effort. Taurus doesn’t like going out of their way for others if there’s nothing in it for them, so there can be some long-term struggles in the appreciation department. Leos and Tauruses have the potential to butt heads a lot in a relationship because Leo has a big ego and Taurus is stubborn, which makes it hard for either to back down in an argument. It can be a lot of work to get to a point where the two of them are able to compromise and really listen to each other when they disagree, but it can be an incredibly rewarding relationship if they are able to set aside their differences.
