Medical marijuana brownies, or "weed brownies", are a great alternative to smoking cannabis. Although cannabis is illegal for recreational use in many countries, it has been adopted as a medicine to alleviate the symptoms of many illnesses. Some may not like to smoke in order to gain the benefits, but brownies are an easy and effective way to get around this. There are two parts to making marijuana brownies: the first part is the making of the butter, and the second part the making of the brownies. Making marijuana brownies is a fairly easy process and not much cooking knowledge is required, so grab your apron and get baking!

    Expert Answer
Yes! You can use something like a Ghirardelli pre-mix, which is widely available in most grocery stores. First, you need to to decarboxylate your cannabis, this is just fancy talk for "toasting it" for 30 minutes or so to activate the THC. Once it’s ready, infuse it into butter or oil by gently heating the decarbed cannabis along with your butter or oil of choice for a few minutes. Strain out the plant material, and you’ve got your infused base! Now, you just have to follow the instructions on the brownie mix box and start baking!

To make marijuana brownies, you’ll need 1 stick of butter, 10 grams of ground marijuana, 1 cup of flour, ¾ cup of cocoa powder, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, 2 cups sugar, and 4 eggs. First, boil water in a pan and melt the butter in a bowl on top. Once the butter has melted, add 1 cup of water and 10 grams of ground marijuana to the bowl. Keep stirring it for 1 hour to help the marijuana infuse. Then, pour the mixture through a cheesecloth into another bowl and put it in the freezer for 40 minutes.
