  1. Introduced in 2011, Abbey Bominable (like “abominable”) is a yeti from the Himalaya mountains. She’s tough, confident, and has a dark sense of humor, but struggles sometimes with telling the truth. Sometimes, she can be a bit chilly, but mostly because English isn’t her first language, and she warms up once you get to know her.
  2. Clawdeen was introduced in 2010 as a werewolf student of Monster High. She has many siblings, including Clawdia, Clawd, and Howleen. She’s also a gifted fashion designer who aspires to leave her mark in the fashion world. She’s passionate, fierce, and energetic, but also has a short temper.

  3. Cleo was introduced in 2010 as a human mummy student from Ancient Egypt. Of course, she comes from a royal family, and she’s also royalty at school, too, being one of the most popular students at Monster High. Cleo struggles with her home life and high expectations of her dad, but her friends at school help build her self-esteem. [1]
  4. Deuce is a male student introduced in 2010. He’s a gorgon, which is a mythical snake creature that can turn people to stone with just a look. He also happens to be Medusa’s son, but he doesn’t have the greatest relationship with her. Other students say he’s the hottest guy at Monster High, as well as one of the most relaxed and easygoing.
  5. Also introduced in 2010, Draculaura is, of course, a vampire! She’s Hungarian-Romanian, and also Dracula’s adopted daughter. Some say she’s spoiled, and she doesn’t handle challenges very well, but she faces her own obstacles and struggles. She’s one of the most upbeat, optimistic, and energetic students at Monster High.
  6. Frankie Stein is another OG character introduced in 2010. Hailing from Germany, she’s a frankenmonster and the daughter of the famous Frankenstein’s Monster and his bride. Since she was built very recently instead of being born, she’s pretty inexperienced and naive, but she’s a fast learner who’s eager to catch up to her classmates.
  7. Ghoulia is a zombie student introduced in 2010, and also the top of her class, grades-wise. Once, she was pretty shy and reserved, but Cleo de Nile taught her to have a bit more confidence and be more social. She’s smart, curious, hard-working, and loves all things dead and undead.
  8. Introduced in 2010, Lagoona is a sea monster student, and is the daughter of a sea monster and an ocean nymph. She was born in the Great Scarrier Reef and crossed the ocean to attend Monster High, where she’s a total social butterfly who makes friends easily. She’s open-minded, generous, and kind, but also has a no-nonsense policy.
