  • Question
How do I change the battery? In the display window it says "low battery." What should I do?
    Community Answer
Remove the cover carefully, more than likely it snaps on at the bottom and hangs and pivots from two little fingers at the top, pull out on the snaps at the bottom and it should lift off at the top. Now you can see the batteries to tell what type they are. Replace them and mark the date down somewhere, they will need to be replaced in about a year.
  • Question
How do I reset a lux thermostat?
    Community Answer
To unlock the thermostat without the lock code, press the RESET button. After pressing RESET then within the next 4 seconds press the UP button 3 times then the DOWN button once. This will reset the lock code to 0000. Replace thermostat batteries with fresh AA size Duracell® or Energizer® alkaline batteries.
