  • Question
What if God isn't actually real?
    Community Answer
God is real but everyone will question God's presence. Sometimes it feels like God just isn't there when we need Him. He does see you and He knows your problems and worries. Read the Bible, and consider Jesus, the Son of God, part of the Trinity come into human form to save us. There is historical evidence that Jesus was real. Even non-believers way back then wrote about how Jesus was real and alive. If Jesus wasn't God, why would He die on the cross for a lie He had made up? Crucifixion was a painful, slow, torturous death. No one would want to die for a lie. He also rose from the dead. Rising from the dead is an act of God.
  • Question
What if people reject me when I talk about Jesus Christ?
    Community Answer
Dust yourself off and move on to the next person. Not everyone will be receptive to the word of God, but plenty of people will be.
  • Question
How can I live with God?
    Community Answer
Accept Jesus Christ into your heart. Know that He died on the cross for your sins, and that He then rose from the grave. Pray and read the Bible. Pray for forgiveness when you sin. Think about things before you do them, and if you aren't certain about what to do, ask Jesus to guide you. Talk to other Christians and pray with them.
  • Question
I made a mistake in my past that always plays on my mind and is not allowing me to move forward. How can I really ignore it and can I ask God to help me enjoy my life?
    Community Answer
Ignoring the past isn't the way forward. Come to God in prayer, ask Him to take any burdens from you and to renew you. As long as its good, God will grant it.
  • Question
How do I know that I am living for Jesus and not for my own good thoughts?
    Community Answer
By following his footsteps through reading, studying, and meditating and doing His words.
  • Question
How can I start to read the Bible? How do I know where to start?
    Community Answer
The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) tell Jesus' life but in different perspectives by four of his followers, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It is a good way to learn more about Jesus. However, if you want to read the whole story from the beginning, start at Genesis.
  • Question
What are the consequences of always lusting for women if I accept Jesus into my life?
    Community Answer
Accepting Christ says that you are powerless to overcome what is controlling you. When we accept Christ, He takes control. We surrender and allow him to remove what's controlling us. We are then set free. We will find we no longer want to sin because Christ dwells in us. There will sometimes be a battle in the flesh telling us to sin, but we must never give in. Stay strong for Christ.
  • Question
I pray often but still cannot stop gambling. Can you help me?
    Community Answer
Ask the Lord to help you fill up your time and thoughts with his will. Spend time reading the Bible. Spend time with others who are seeking God, perhaps at Gamblers Anonymous. Help people in need. Seek forgiveness for your sins. Make Jesus Christ the center of your life and ask him to help you do his will each day. When you pray, believe in your heart that God has heard your prayer and pray that God's will be done, not yours. God does not want you to continue to struggle with this. He wants you to live in his light, love, and goodness and share this with others.
  • Question
How can I free my mind when praying?
    Community Answer
It is very easy to allow our minds to wander while we pray. When you realize that you have "wandered off" during prayers, simply try to reset your mind towards God.
  • Question
What if I can't go to church?
    Community Answer
You can watch services on the internet or on TV, or you can listen to them on the radio. You can also just take some time for Bible study. There's always a way; with Jesus all things are possible.
  • Question
I have bad spirits holding me down and touching me. How do I make them stop and seek Jesus with a full heart?
    Community Answer
Put all of your trust in Jesus. Ignore the bad spirits. They are only looking for your weak points, and if you focus on Jesus, you will have none.
  • Question
What can I do if I've asked God to forgive me for my past mistakes, but they keep running through my mind?
    Community Answer
If something keeps playing on your mind, it is your ego (some say Satan) that does not want you to be one with God. Instead of focusing on that ego, focus on God and his Holy Spirit within you. Choose eternal life through Christ. That is the battle we all have to face.
  • Question
Can I ever know that I'm truly saved?
    Community Answer
Yes. You will feel God in your heart and soul when you've been saved.
  • Question
I find it hard to accept Jesus as my personal saviour. How can I accept him?
    Community Answer
Open your heart to love and forgiveness. Get on your knees and ask God to forgive you of your sins and then also forgive yourself. Free your heart of all guilt, self-persecution and emotional pain. You have then freed up your heart to accept Jesus as your Savior. Give your life over to Jesus, and pray that He fills your heart with eternal gladness, love and peace. Accepting Jesus and God's will for your life gives you eternal life.
  • Question
How can I reach out to others who have yet to come to know Jesus as their Lord?
    Community Answer
Invite them to your church, or to a church-related event. Tell them about how your life has changed for the better since you accepted Jesus as your savior. Don't try to force them into anything, it has to be their choice.
  • Question
I have been having trouble opening myself up to God, and when I do, I feel as though he isn't listening. What do I do?
    Community Answer
God already knows everything about you. He knows your deepest fears, needs, and yearnings. Sometimes we aren't in line with the way God thinks. Spend more time with him. He always hears, even if we don't think so. Our timing isn't the same as God's, so don't expect him to answer right away. Sometimes it takes years to be answered, but God's timing never fails.
  • Question
What is the best chapter to begin reading after accepting God into my life?

  • Question
What happens if I have been forgiven but I keep committing the same error almost obsessively?
    Community Answer
You can pray about it. Ask God to help you and keep you from making this error. You can tell your parents, too. You can ask Christian friends or elders to pray for you. And when there is a chance to make this error, fight against yourself. Tell yourself aloud that you shouldn't do this, that this is not a good idea and it is sinful. At that moment, pray to God and ask him for help.
  • Question
I am a Christian and had sex with another Christian, but we are not married. What should I do?

Do good things in your life, including focusing more on others and less on your own fate. Although no one is perfect, God will help you do the right things. Have faith in Jesus and you will be saved.
  • Question

    Community Answer
In some faiths, yet. It is through the waters of baptism that one becomes born again in Christ the Lord. However, not all faiths consider this essential, so you will need to talk to your faith's guide.

If I am sincerely worried, and I repent, will thy Savior help the fear leave me?

  • Question
I've just started reading the Bible a few weeks ago. I still don't understand it. Am I a bad person? Can I still be saved and reborn if I don't understand it?
    Community Answer
Relax. The Bible can be very difficult to understand. That's why we have preachers/pastors/priests and why most churches offer Bible studies. If you're feeling overwhelmed, attend services regularly and try joining a Bible study. All you need to be saved is a love for Jesus and a thirst to learn what the Bible has to teach.
  • Question
Is it wrong to drink as a Christian?
    Community Answer
If you drink excessively, then yes, but an occasional drink is fine. The key to anything is moderation. Remember, even Jesus drank wine and celebrated with his friends.
  • Question
Is there anything else I can do?
    Community Answer
Accepting Jesus is more than a mere affirmation of belief. If you believe in gravity, you would adjust your behavior so that you would avoid injuries and use gravity to your advantage; the same goes for belief in Christ. He actually wants you to be a good person. If you love Him, obey His commandments; when you sin, go to confession and be contrite.
  • Question
Is there evidence that Jesus was really on Earth?
    Community Answer
Yes. There are writings, secular and nonsecular, about Jesus. Christians and many non-Christian knew of his existence. Everything Jesus said He did happened. Just google "evidence for Jesus' existence."
