  • Question
Can I adhere fabric to particle board with the same effect?
    T. Chinsen
    Top Answerer
A spray adhesive is the fastest way to attach fabric to particle board; it prevents the seepage of glue or modge podge bleeding into the fabric. This will also have a shorter drying time. Hot glue is an option if you are able to apply a thin, even coating.
  • Question
Do I put another layer of Mod Podge on top of the fabric after it dries to seal it all?

No. One coat should do. If you would like to add another layer, feel free, but note that it may make it look clumpy if applied unevenly.
  • Question

Try to sand some of the paint off with sandpaper first, to give it the best chance at working. Use glue that is suitable for fabric and a painted surface.
  • Question
Can I attach mesh to bamboo? It will be used in water, so what is the best, cleanest and longest-lasting method to use? I thought maybe hot glue would work.
    T. Chinsen
    Top Answerer
Any glue that is waterproof when dry can be used to attach mesh to bamboo. Hot glue will work. However, it is a plastic and will eventually will get brittle and lose its hold over time. Read the glue labels to find one that will adhere to both materials. Industrial glues like E600 are flexible and strong enough to hold different materials together.
